hey hi hello welcome back to my blog. i hope you’re doing well. in today’s blog post i’m doing a rare makeup post. i haven’t done one of these in so long but lately i’ve been getting a bit into makeup again. i’m doing a super quick makeup look, hair and outfit perfect for this end of summer vibe. also almost all these products are cruelty free except for one.
face makeup- i start off by using the too faced hangover primer to moisturize and prime my face. this is a really good primer and i really recommend it if you’re looking for a moisturizing one. next i conceal any spots and my undereyes and blend it in with the real techniques sponge. i used the la colors concealer which is actually really good and so affordable. i don’t have a bronzer i like so i use a light brown eyeshadow shade and small brush to contour my nose. lastly i set my face with a translucent powder. don’t use this one though because it’s not cruelty free or very good, i’m just using it until i buy a different one. i apply this with the same sponge over the concealed spots and let it set. once the powder has set i brush it away with a powder brush. lastly i lightly spray my face with rose water i made to set it and keep it all dewy.
eye makeup- to start off i fill in my eyebrows with the anastasia beverly hills dip brow pomade and their angled brush. for my eyes i use a dark brown eyeshadow from this broken milani basics palette and an angled brush to tight-line my top and bottom lash line. then i use that same eyeshadow to do a little wing on each eye. i’m obsessed with this eye routine and i really recommend you try it out! to finish off eyeshadow i use a light brown all over the lid. to finish off my makeup i apply a medium amount of mascara. i love the wet n wild mega length mascara because it makes your lashes so long without clumps and is super affordable too.
hair- ever since cutting my hair a few months back i never really do much to it. if i do anything to my hair i’ll use a claw clip! also when i get out of the shower i use a salt texture cream in my hair.
outfit- this outfit definitely gives off major fall vibes and i’m here for it and can’t wait for fall. the top is a knit tank i thrifted (goodwill), the jacket it a black denim one (tag says buffalo if that helps) and black jeans from pacsun. also this fluffy bag is one that i made! i got the fabric at joann’s fabric store and handsewed it into a tote.
i hope you enjoyed this get ready with me and go drink some tea, go for a walk and have a great rest of your day!
