a week of workouts
hi welcome to or back to my blog! i’ve been pretty consistent about working out during quarantine for the most part, so for today’s post i’m going to be sharing the workouts i did each day last week. this may seem like a lot or a little but this is what i like so hopefully this gives you some inspo or ideas.
monday- for monday’s workout i drove to a trail and ran 3 miles. i got really into running mid-quarantine and i still try to run a little to kinda stay in running shape.
tuesday- for tuesday’s workout i did a more chill one. i started off by going for a walk at the beach. i’ve been loving walking lately because i didn’t realize how much of a good workout it actually is while being super low impact and enjoyable. later on in the day i went to the tennis courts with my sister. we played tennis for an hour ish and that’s another super fun way to stay active this summer.
wednesday- for wednesday’s workout i did a leg/butt workout from tiktok by katelynn nolan. definitely check out her tiktok because she has tons of great workouts and recipes on there.
then i did this ab workout in 3 sets of 20:
- toe taps
- bicycle crunches
- heel taps
- russian twists
- 1 min side planks
on wednesday night i went for a walk around the neighborhood by my sisters practice. it was a super cute sunset walk and i really recommend walking at sunset for an extra view.
thursday- thursday i went for another morning beach walk. i go around 7:45 so there isn’t a ton of people which i love. this day i did a super quick workout i found on pinterest and repeated it twice:
- 60 russian twists
- 45 crunches (i split this into two sets)
- 20 standing cross crunches
- 30 reverse crunches
- 35 bicycle crunches
- 20 flutter kicks
- 1 min side planks
i also played tennis this day since it was super sunny.
friday- friday i did another workout from katelynn nolan’s tiktok. then i went to work, i work retail for around 4 hour shifts which is a ton of walking and some lifting of boxes since this was a stocking day.
saturday- i was going to try and run saturday but i wasn’t feeling it so i did some yoga instead.
sunday- sunday morning i went for another beach walk. then i worked another stocking shift.
