hi welcome back to my blog! breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day and i love making good breakfasts i love. so for today’s post i’m sharing what i made for breakfast each day this week. these are all quick and easy to put together in the morning too.
monday – berry protein smoothie
blend: maca powder, hemp protein, frozen pineapple, frozen strawberries, almond milk and a banana.
i put some granola in the bottom of the glass before filling it with smoothie and then added a little more granola and some sliced banana on top. love adding a little crunch to smoothies to spice them up a bit. this is also really good with almond butter put in the glass with the granola.
tuesday – blueberry almond butter oatmeal
for tuesday’s breakfast i started off by making some plain oatmeal on the stovetop. after finishing cooking the oatmeal, i added some blueberries, chia seeds and a big scoop of almond butter on top. this combo is so good!
wednesday – chocolate chip banana muffins and fruit
on tuesday i made muffins so i had two of those for breakfast wednesday. i used this recipe and swapped the canola oil for coconut and added dairy free chocolate chips to the batter. i promise these taste way better than they look. and then with the muffins i had some banana, pineapple and a ginger kombucha.
thursday – yogurt with strawberries, blueberries and granola
this is my all time go to breakfast since it’s really fast and good. my favorite yogurt is the kite hill unsweeted almond milk yogurt and i add whatever fresh fruit i have, chia seeds and granola. this morning i had strawberries and blueberries but i also love adding peaches and pineapple.
friday – protein pineapple smoothie
i’m not going to include the picture of this one because it looked kinda gross but i promise it was actually really good. i also had another one of those muffins with this.
blend: hemp protien, maca powder, a banana, frozen pinapple and almond milk.
