naked palette review + look

so recently i got the naked palette from my mom as a gift!! i’ve really wanted to do a review and a look with this palette so here you go 🙂

–basic information

the urban decay naked palette retails for $54. urban decay is certified by PETA to be cruelty free (yay!!) which is really awesome! it has 12 shades, some lighter and other darker.

–how they wear + last

i’m happy to say… these don’t crease!! i’ve always struggles with creasing shadow, partly cause i’m too lazy to buy shadow primer but this palette doesn’t need it. it lasts all day with wiping off or creasing in the crease!

–quality

these eyeshadows have amazing quality and they blend so nice!! since this is definitely the most expensive product i own, i’d expect the best and honestly it really lives up to that. they have minimal fallout and you don’t need too much shadow to get an opaque color so the palette should last a good while!

–shades & wearability

the 12 shades are all super useful and perfect for everyday and more dramatic looks! i often use a combination of the first 6 shades for everyday, mixing it up which ones throughout the week. the next six are more dramatic but still wearable and fun to use. i also love using some from each side to make a semi-dramatic look (keep reading to see it *wink wink*)

–overall

this is an amazing palette that i love so much and i 10/10 recommend!!

–the look!!

1. i started this look by going in with “sidecar” all over my lid with a fluffy brush from ecotools! i also mixed in a little bit of “naked” to keep it light and nude.

2. then, i went in with the dark mauve, “toasted” in the crease. i used another fluffy but slightly flatter brush to blend it into the crease.

3. for my inner-corner, i really wanted to make it pop so i used the shimmer gold, “half baked.” this added to look to make it a little less basic!

4. to darken up the lashline, i went in with “darkhorse” right by my top and bottom lashes. i blended it just a bit into my lashline using an *looks up name of brush* angled brush!

i hope you enjoyed this review & look, let me know if you’d like to see more of them!
