crazy summer week in my life

okay so i know a lot of people are going back to school around now but your girl still has around half a month left of school! so therefore more summer travels and adventures to share. this was one of my most fun weeks of summer so i had to do a post on it! i played volleyball, hung out with friends, went thrifting for school clothes, got surgery, volunteered and went to a party!

monday

monday was pretty boring compared to the rest of the week but monday morning i worked on some ap homework. not my favorite thing ever but i finished it the next day which feels amazing. then i babysat for a bit and just knocked small things off the to-do list. then i had the last one of my setting volleyball traininngs because if you didn’t know i play club and school volleyball and more specifically i am a setter. so yeah i went to vollyball and this training was especially good and helpful. then when i got home i took a hot bath cause i was a tad sore from playing super intense again the previous days.

tuesday

the next day i spent my morning finishing up the last bit of my ap summer homework! obvously i didn’t love that but it felt great to be done and be able to fully enjoy the rest of my summer without stressing about that! then my cousin from alberta canada came to visit us! she was staying with my grandparents and they came up to our house for the day. we got along super well and she’s super fun and i was so glad to meet her cause i actually had not previously. we walked to the gas station and bought slurpees and takis cause uhh we’re here for a good time not a long time i guess! then we went to my slightly crazy summer youth group which isn’t usually as crazy at all as it is in the summer, it was her and my sisters first time so yeah.

wednesday

then on wednesday things got even more exciting. i went to work with my dad super early that morning cause i was hanging with my friend who lives in seattle and it would be easier for him to just take me from work. so i went to her house and we went to a few different goodwills and value village and did some thrfiting! i’ve definetely been getting more into thrifting since it’s fun and good for the wallet and the environment. then we went to university village for lunch and went to the best, veggie grill! aka my favorite returant ever and i got the best vegan option. then we just shopped around university village for a bit and got some goodies.

thursday

thursday was not exactly my favorite day ever… i had to get surgery. basically i have genes for melanoma in me and so i ahve to go in every 6 months to get checked for any signs of it appearing on my skin. last time i was there she found two that looked funky so i got them both biopsied. one came back clean but the other one came back severely irregular so my mom booked the surgery a week later and i went in and got it removed from my arm. i’m not sure how many stitches they needed but probably around 10-15 ish. but yeah now i’m all good. then i just wnet home and chilled and then headed over to my quy best friends house and we just hung out for a while. then i went and picked up my sister from her friends and we went home for the night.

friday

then on friday i went back to seattle yet again. this time me and my dad were volunteerng to help set up a bike ride for cancer reasearch. we set up the bike and bag check area and just got everything rady for the ride. then i was going to a lake party on mercer with the group i went to summer camp with that night. my dad drove me over there and we stopped at mcdonalds first too haha. but yes it was incredible to see them all again and swimming in lake washington was sooo fun. then we had a lake fire and jammed out to my playlist which i think might have scared a few people at first haha. yeah it was an incredible night and then i slept over with my friend in seattle and it was just the best!

i hope you all enjoyed this post and have a great day!!
