Today’s post is like a what I eat in a day, workout routine, healthy recipes and productive day in my life all in onee!! I hope you enjoy and it inspires you <3
I woke up around 7:30 because this was a productive day. I started off my day of course with breakfast! I had a lot of things to do this day including the gym, planning, school paperwork, laundry, packing and cleaning. For breakfast I had banana bread & almond milk yogurt! I’ll usually put fruit and granola in my yogurt but we were out.
BANANA BREAD RECIPE
I got this recipe from my camp councilor so shoutout to her because it’s amazing! It’s vegan and gluten-free if you just use gluten-free flour.
3/4 vv ripe bananas
1.5 cups flour
2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
2/3 cups veggie oil
bake at 350 fahrenheit for 45-55 minutes
I also took my vitamins. I take the Garden of Life Women’s Gummies. These are certified vegan gummy multivitamins that have almost all the nutrients vegans need! (sometimes I take a separate calcium one) These don’t give me a stomachache like some can, since these are made with real food too making them less like a med if that makes sense. Lots of biotin, b12, b6, etc.
After breakfast, my mom and I went to a yoga class at her gym! Usually I go to my gym and workout, but I’ve been doing 7hr volleyball trainings and I was sore. Usually at the gym I’ll do 25 minutes on the elliptical and then a 30 minute workout from Pinterest before walking home! After yoga we went grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s before I went home and took this stunning bath.
For lunch, I made my mom and me salads & vegan veggie burgers! We got these veggie burgers from Trader Joe’s and they were amazing. I think they were from a California brand if that helps. For the salad, I mixed spring mix, black beans, tomato and avocado and ate it with the veggie burger!! This was so good and I can’t wait to make it again. I also drank a Starbucks pink drink while I made this but it was gone by photo time whoops!!
After lunch I had to do my laundry and pack for the beach (where I am rnn ;)). This is boring and average but basically I just put all my clothes in the washer and added detergent then pushed the button lol. While I was waiting for them to be done, I cleaned my messy room. I’ve been gone so much and so my room was a bit chaotic. I was leaving the next day (yesterday as I’m writing this) for Ocean Shores so I wanted to leave it nice and clean! After it was done I folded and put everything away that I didn’t want to pack and packed what I did.
For snack I made a tropical fruit smoothie! I blended a mix of frozen mango, pineapple, strawberry and papaya with banana and soymilk. This was soo good and reminded me of hawaii so I seriously recommend trying out this smoothie!!
After laundry, I typedablogpost and had Netflix on splitscreen! I was typing my “recent favorites” (hehe go check it out if you missed it) and if you were wondering, most take around 1-2 hours in full to type. Then I did some random planning I needed to do. I planned out some August blog posts (including this one hehe). I also added some plans with friends to my calendar app I’ve been using in the summer! For dinner my mom made some taco salad and I had it with corn chips and salsa! She used romaine lettuce, refried black beans, tomato’s and guacamole. After dinner I just finished up packing and paperwork for volleyball tryouts! Before bed I watched a episode of Netflix and then read a few chapters of a book.
